PTO Quarterly Newsletter

December 2025

In the first 1/3 of the school year the PTO has been hard at work fundraising, planning community events, supporting the school library, and planning teacher appreciation. It feels good to finally find a groove as we start our third year as a school PTO! Find ways you can join us and get involved here. We also have a new facebook page and instagram account. You can join our private PTO Facebook group here.

Help with Winter Teacher Appreciation

Right before winter break the PTO gives the educators, staff and bus drivers a little show of appreciation with some food and gifts. Thank you to everyone who took a ticket off the giving tree! If you’d like to contribute you can sign up to volunteer, donate food or gifts cards, or give a financial donation to the teacher appreciation fund.

Sign up to volunteer or donate items for teacher appreciation here.

Committee Updates

The PTO has reorganized into a committee model, and committees work in different areas such as events, fundraising, hospitality and the library. The commitment is about an hour or two a month. If you’d like to sign up for a committee you can do that here. Click the link for more detailed descriptions of the committees.

Fundraising Updates

A huge thank you to everyone who bought tickets for our calendar raffle. We raised over $5,000!

Events Updates

Join us for a fundraiser at Launch Westboro on Friday, January 23 between 3:30 and 10pm! For $30 per person, you’ll get 2 hours of play, Launch socks, 2 slices of pizza and a drink!

SAVE THE DATE FOR FAMILY PROM ON MARCH 20!

If you’d like to volunteer for events you can fill out our volunteer form here

Library Updates

The library is thriving, with 20 parent and grandparent volunteers supporting Ms. Glasier, offering their time and energy to help check books in and out, shelving books, and keeping the library going. Elementary libraries receive no funding from the district, so our library is completely volunteer-led and relies on parents to make it run. If you’d like to sign up, Here’s the volunteer sign up form. If you’d like to donate to the library to help us buy more books or replace lost books you can do that here.
