Library celebrates one year anniversary!
It’s hard to believe it’s been one whole year since the school library opened! What started in the fall of 2023 as a passion project spearheaded by parent volunteers has evolved to an incredible space for teaching and learning. We are so proud of all our community has been able to accomplish! We hope your children have been able to bring home some great books to read with you over the last year, as between January 2025 and January 2026, students checked out 9,700 books. We are grateful to the 25 parent and grandparent volunteers who donate their time every week, for a total of 1,176 hours. If you’d like to volunteer in the library you can fill out this form.
School Spirit Wear
Introducing some new school swag! Celebrate our international school with our “Together we are Worcester Dual Language Magnet School” gear! You pick the CORA the Chameleon representing your country on the front and on the back are all the countries that make up our school community. It is time intensive to add all 50 countries to our school store, so please email us the country and shirt/sweatshirt combination you want to fundraising@worcesterdualpto.org and we will add it for you to purchase. The PTO gets 20% of the proceeds. Thank you for your support!

Committee Updates
The PTO has a committee model and committees work in different areas such as events, fundraising, hospitality, 6th grade experience and the library. The commitment is about an hour or two a month. If you’d like to sign up for a committee you can do that here. Click the link for more detailed descriptions of the committees.

Fundraising Updates
The winter concert raffle raised $1393 ($400 more than last year), the new Launch fundraiser raised $2,785 and Penny Wars raised $1300 ($600 less than last year). So far this year PTO has raised $16,759 and our goal is $16,500. Thank you all for all your support!
We also wanted to share that due to how time intensive it is, the fundraising committee has decided to discontinue with the school book fair starting next year.
